Dear hiring manager,

My name is Matias and I’m currently in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa traveling here with my girlfriend. We are both hard workers from Argentina, with a great attitude and willingness to learn, and also to make as much hard-earned money as we can.

Over the past two years in Australia we have worked in a variety of roles mostly in the hospitality industry, but we are not afraid of weather conditions be it heat or cold. We had an experience working in a roadhouse in Queensland’s outback during summer as housekeepers, and although it was hard work, money was good and life was mentally easy.

In the past, back at home, I used to be an IT technician and my girlfriend Rosie used to run her own pastry business while studying to become the Industrial Engineer she is today. So we are not afraid of a mental challenge as it can make a job a bit more fun and sometimes rewarding.

At the moment we find ourselves looking to get into a different industry where we can be a part of something bigger, putting our efforts towards benefiting people or industries, while making some good money in the way.

Ideally we would like to start working in January 2025 till January 2026 which is a month before our visa expires. We have already done our extension work so we are free to go to any location in Australia. Given the choice, we would prefer to have free or cheap accomodation and meals. With the right working conditions, we are willing to spend a whole year working with you.

We both have got a High Reach Forklift License, and can get any other license we might need such as a White Card, Confined Spaces or similar. Also wouldn’t mind getting machines tickets since that could be an interesting experience. We are willing to purchase a car if the location requires it.

Although we haven’t worked in this industry before, we do have work references that could tell you the kind of workers we are.
